For the record,

On my dad’s side of the family, blue eyes are common. And not just any blue eyes, the kind that are light and have a hint of grey to them. My dad, my younger brother, my older half brother, my grandmother and one of my uncles has blue eyes. If I’m not mistaken, my dad’s dad had eyes like them as well. My mom was adopted, so I have no idea If the eyes run in her family, but she has them as well. What do I have? Green.
